Just got the Slim PS3 By Matt Smith of Slim PS3 I’ve just received the new Slim PS3 from Amazon and got it all unboxed and installed. To be honest those of you thinking it looks rather dull in its matt black finish will probably change your minds when you see one in the flesh. In fact I really like the look of it and it just shows how the glossy finish on the original PS3 model really attracted the fingerprints and as a result was a pain to keep clean. The new click-style buttons seem to work fine for me as well. On the noise front I’d say it was a tad quieter than the original but something which is barely noticeable and if other consoles are anything to go by then each one may vary slightly anyway. At the end of the day I’m really pleased with my new Slim PS3.
