Is there a new Sony PS3 on the horizon?

For anyone looking to buy a Sony PlayStation 3 over the next few weeks, they may be best placed to wait for a little while. There are persistent rumours about the internet of a new slim version which could be due in the next few months. This would tie in with Sony’s desire to created more interest in the console by offering better value rather than simply reducing the price. There could be some good deals coming up on the old version as well.
