Features of the new iPhone 3GS

The new iPhone 3GS brings many new innovations to the iPhone stable. The first is a faster and more energy efficient processor. According to Apple this allows the new iPhone 3GS to operate up to two times faster than the previous version. Improved efficiency also allows a longer talk time and more internet browsing time than before. The second major innovation surrounds the new camera. The specification of the camera has often been stated as one of the iPhones' negative points but the new version in the 3GS not only allows for better photos due to its 3 mega pixel resolution, but you are now able to shoot VGA quality video as well. Another first for the iPhone 3GS is the ability to control the phone using voice control. You are now able to call up people in your phone book or load web pages without having to touch a button. The final major improvement is the inclusion of a compass. This allows the user to see which direction they are pointing and can be used in conjunction with the built in GPS system from the previous iPhone.
